Triple 2020 Mercury Verado 400's w/580 hours Tons of Added Options and Recent Upgrades! YAABOA is well loved and beautifully outfitted 2009 Jupiter 39 Express. She has been professionally maintained and has resided on a private lift in Key West, FL since June 2017. YAABOA is one of the nicest outboard express boats currently available on the market, and she shows as a much newer boat, ready for a new owner to cruise and/ or fish her immediately. Jupiter's 39 Express spans the gap between fishing machine and luxurious cruiser. On the helm deck, you first notice the good visibility through the windshield. With one piece of glass for the front, without the typical three sections and accompanying mullions that obstruct visibility, the 39 offers excellent line of sight ahead, abeam and astern. Even on acceleration, the bow lift is minimal, so you never have that moment when you can’t see ahead of or all around you. The helm-deck elevation, combined with the helm layout to starboard, gives the helmsman enough room to operate with excellent situational awareness. Additional features include the 2 Fusion stereo systems with upgraded JL audio marine speakers, water heater, radar, & FLIR. The current owners used the boat as is when purchased for about 2 years before they decided to up-fit the boat to a more modern and easy to use platform, with the changes as follows:

Features:

Complete re-power to Mercury Verado 400HP engines. The owners performed extensive research for this repower with best possible options for this vessel. The new motors reduced transom weight from the original 350 Yahamas by over 1000lbs, increased thrust, shifted the center of gravity forward for a more comfortable and efficient ride, installed all new Mercury hydraulic steering system components, new Mercury engine instrumentation with integration into the Garmin MFDs

Electric reel connections in cockpit, wide top mounted riggers can allow 7 lines for trolling, reinforced gunnel rod holders to support bent butt rods for cranking in the bottom beasts, a removable bait prep/ cutting board at transom, adequate tackle storage with quick access to tackle trays, weights, leader material and a huge working space in the cockpit allows substantial room for yelling at your friends and family when the fish get hooked. The 45gal live well has been re-plumbed to circulate the baits and the two in deck fish boxes are cavernous. She holds over 435gal of Rec90 in a single tank, but a 100gal bladder with storage bag and electric transfer pump goes with the boat (powered by the electric reel plug). On the hard top, a single pedestal supports the radar and the Starlink receiver sits just behind, allowing plenty of room for someone wanting to climb up to get a better view. Full isinglass enclosure at the helm deck is a great escape from the summertime heat to keep the captain and guests in the cool AC. Plenty of comfy spots for guests to be more than comfortable.

Isinglass on the sides and rear come off in the winter to enjoy the breeze. Her deep v flattens out slightly at the transom without any step in the hull, so she runs nimble and extremely shallow on plane, handling like a much smaller boat.
When the fishing gear comes off, the bow pad goes on. She is perfect as a cruiser. This boat has been used for day trips to the beach and sandbar, overnights to the Dry Tortugas, and trips up the west coast. She comes with a hard case packed 6person offshore life raft (not mounted, but cradle mount included).

The large helm dash has two large Garmin screens; all switches are on another panel under the electronics dash starboard side; and the binnacle, steering wheel, throttles, anchor-windlass control, trim, autopilot, stereo, and bow-thruster control are on the angled horizontal surface of the helm.

Aft of the helm on the starboard side, a cabinet contains dry storage. Portside you will find a full L settee. Here again, Jupiter’s flexibility is great. There is 50-amp dockside service.

Aft of the helm deck, the spacious cockpit features a tackle/bait-prep center with a freshwater sink and shower, a 45-gallon stand-up livewell, a dockside TV inlet, a saltwater washdown, undergunwale rod racks, coaming cushions, a boarding ladder and a walk-through transom door and gate. Two large in-deck 90-gallon fish/storage boxes hold a huge number of fish, and an insulated top-loading freezer makes this outboard express fishy yet luxurious.

You enter the cabin from the helm deck through a sliding acrylic door. There’s rich-toned custom wood cabinetry and Corian countertops to starboard in a galley large enough to actually cook a meal in, plus a glass two-burner cooktop, a microwave, a stainless sink and an Isotherm stainless-steel double-drawer refrigerator and freezer. There’s plenty of storage too, with overhead and undercounter cabinets. To port lies a half-moon-shaped dinette with storage underneath, custom wood cabinets overhead and an adjustable custom wood table. This main salon has a flat-screen TV with a DVD player, an AM/FM/CD stereo, a cedar-lined hanging closet locker to port, teak and maple flooring, and an open, comfortable yachty feel. Aft of the galley and dinette, under the helm deck, is a midberth with reading lights.

Fully forward is the main berth, with drawers below, cabinets overhead, reading lights, accent lights, a flat-screen TV and custom soft goods. The underwater lighting adds an elegant touch to then overall aesthetic.

The 39 is a solid, stable and comfortable-riding boat. It’s easy to have a conversation on the helm deck, even at speed, with the quiet outboards. With plenty of rod holders and single spur outriggers, the boat trolls nicely. She has a great lure-speed wake, and when it’s slowed down, the bubble trail dissipates quickly at the third wave, providing a clean trolling pattern. It is stable at rest too, drifting and lying in the trough for kite-fishing with no problem.

If you like quality and a tight fit and finish, and you’re looking for a good-running, good-looking, well-appointed boat, or just need a bit more interior space for the kids, look at the 39 Jupiter before you jump into a diesel boat.
